Corsica N°5 ***: Today, the end of the Cap, a small trip with only 120km,but you will probably often stop for a little visit in the villages or a point of view, yes it is true, you will not believe your eyes!Macinaggio, Luri, Pino, Barretali, Canari, Morsiglia, Centuri, Ersa, Barcaggio, Tomino.
First part: From Macinagio to Canari.
 

Leaving Macinaggio to direction of Bastia up to Santa Severa, the Marine of Luri a nice little harbort. Here you will turn left on the D180 road to Luri. It is a long valley going from the see to the sommit of the cap. Once in Luri (Piazza) lets have a coffee at theTony Bar before to start the splendid tarmac to Pino.
Before that you will have a short visit to the "Tour de Sénèque" vue a view to kill , the access road is just at the left when you arrives at the pass St Lucie , the small road is in a bad shape but affordable.
Then after the visit, go down to Pino on a road like made for a Grand prix. You will go down to Pino but you will turn left to the D33 in a right curve just before entering into the village, which you will cross later when coming back on the lower corniche.

Then you just have to follow the D33, you gonna pass (and may be visit) the villages of Barretteli and Canari and finally reach the D80 road. Turn right to go back north.
Second part: Canari, Pino, Morsiglia, Barcaggio, Tomino, Maconaggio.
 


Going north the D80, you will cross Pino, before arriving in Morsiglia where you will turn left on the D35 road which go down to Centuri. Going this way you will not be able to pass through the little harbort, but it is not a problem because you will find a parking place just before that and that the visit is much easier by walk.
To leave then, take back up on the D35 which continue to the hameau of Camara where you will find again the D80, at the right hand side to the col de Serra and the moulins de Matteï.Very nice point of view there at Ersa.
Exactly the village that you will find when turning on to the left on the D153 road which go down to tollare and Barcaggio where you will discover the vers north end of Corsica and theGiraglia island.
Back up again with the D253 road to reach the D80 again, turn left to Macinaggio. Finaly on the right you get to the cross road with the D53 toTomino where you will find splendid point of view to Macinaggio .
To end this trip just go down to Macinaggio and enjoy thes terrasses and the sweet evening on the beach. What a marvellous view!.
